Chabad of Richmond invites the community to a special and historic gathering honoring Cornelia Shonkwiler, daughter of Major Ernst Bloch, whose courageous actions played a pivotal role in the rescue of the Previous Lubavitcher Rebbe during the Holocaust.
This meaningful event will bring together community members, leaders, and guests to reflect on a powerful chapter of Jewish history—one that speaks to moral courage, responsibility, and the enduring strength of the human spirit. It is also an opportunity to gather in unity, remembrance, and shared values at the new Chabad Jewish Center of Richmond.
